Featured in Military Families Magazine: Why Community Is the Engine Behind Military Spouse Businesses
I was recently included in a Military Families Magazine feature on San Diego entrepreneurs and the role community plays in building a business. Being photographed alongside five other military connected founders was a good reminder of something I have believed for a long time.
I built a real estate business across 11 PCS moves. What kept it going was never a perfect plan. It was people. When COVID pushed The Rosie Network's Service2CEO program online, I joined the first virtual cohort, and that decision changed the trajectory of my business in both California and South Carolina.
As I told the magazine, "Real estate is a team effort."
The same is true of the military spouse entrepreneur community. We refer to each other, we hire each other, and we show up.
